Man in Moffet County Facing Assault Charges and More After Attacking a Detention Deputy

According to the article, the man had been refusing orders to close his cell door, so a nearby deputy was instructed to go close it. Upon his approach, the inmate yelled obscenities at him before coming out of the cell, placed his hands around the deputy’s neck, and attempted to shove him over a railing with an 8 foot drop to a concrete floor.
